SchoolTube and NAESP Work to Provide Safe Environment for Student Video Sharing
St. Louis, MO, March 26, 2008 — SchoolTube.com and the National Association of Elementary School Principals are teaming up this April to provide a safe media sharing website for elementary schools across the country.
The joint efforts of SchoolTube.com and the NAESP will provide students and educators a free (and most importantly) safe online environment for teachers and students to showcase their achievements to the nation.
With SchoolTube.com’s Elementary category, your school can showcase plays, spelling bees, assemblies, and anything else captured with video, audio, images, or documents. This innovative platform will allow parents at work or home to enter the classroom when they are unable to attend in person.
“This partnership will afford our members an exciting way to teach 21st century skills to students and effectively communicate with the entire school community”, says Gail Connelly, Executive Director of NAESP.
The mission of the NAESP is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children. NAESP is the strongest unified voice for pre-K-8 leaders across the U.S. and around the world.
All student created material on SchoolTube.com is approved by registered teachers to ensure that all content is appropriate for K-12 students. SchoolTube.com will also allow elementary school teachers to set up personalized video sharing websites for their classroom, enabling parents to upload photos and video to be used in the classroom or yearbooks.
“NAESP and SchoolTube.com’s partnership allows students to share their achievements and creativity with their classmates while learning from other students around the country. The Digital Kids Generation is demanding that we, as adults, bring them safe, effective mechanisms for sharing media, which the Schooltube.com and NAESP websites deliver to our school systems”, says Carl Arizpe, SchoolTube, LLC founder.
SchoolTube.com has thousands of student produced, teacher approved videos from schools across the nation. To see videos created by the most innovative teachers and students, visit
